About
The “Empowering Youth Workers for a Better Integration of Migrants and Refugees” is an enriching collaborative project conducted under the auspices of the EU Erasmus KA220 initiative. With an aim to foster social cohesion, this project seeks to enhance the capacity of youth workers, enabling them to provide comprehensive support to young migrants and refugees during their integration process. Our approach involves the delivery of new tools and methods for youth workers, geared towards the specific needs and challenges that arise when aiding young migrants and refugees.
Migration has emerged as one of the most pressing social, economi c, and political concerns in contemporary societies. The insufficient availability of information on this issue has resulted in persistent challenges for both migrants and the hosting communities. The youth sector plays a pivotal role in devising support mechanisms and solutions to address these challenges. The Erasmus+ Programme presents an effective means for the youth sector to provide technical, methodological, and financial support to migrants as they devise their own solutions to tackle the problem.
The primary objective of this project is to deliver an innovative training curriculum and training materials to professionals working with refugees and other audiences to promote intercultural dialogue, combat discrimination, and foster social inclusion of migrants and refugees.
To contribute to the solution of the problem described above and achieve the project goals, project partners came together and decided to implement the EYBI project.
